How to master electronic data transmission within accounting, financial, fiscal, judicial and social information systems

In France, EDIFICAS has been set up in 1992 due to an initiative of the French institute Ordre des experts-comptables.

It aims to promote EDI in connection with financial, informational, accounting and audit, analytical and social matters. To do so, EDIFICAS relies on international standard named EDIFACT while yet preparing the migration towards the new XML standard.

EDIFRANCE, the French co-ordination organisation has acknowledged EDIFICAS as the accredited body representing the accounting sectorial community. EDIFICAS is also well known by the European Commission and enjoys the use of e-BES as well as UN-CEFACT European and international statuses.
